If they find this option as not possible, then they go for artificial implants such as use of artificial or synthetic substitute.
There are different types of bone graft which dentists use. The natural way of enhancing growth by taking portions of bone from one area and implanting it in one part of the jaw is known as the autogenous bone graft. The other types are allograft which uses the cadaver bone or synthetic one. Where as the xenograft, involves the usage of cow bone or bovine.
